A single-player Let's Play, trying out Hard difficulty for a more genuine survival feel. Episode 8 - Gatling Good We take our budget-build SV out for a spin. It does pretty well, popping drones with ease, and we soon discover one-third of the crashed Titan; the best third of it, if you ask me.
Episode 9 - Bits Fall Off A bit more work dismantling the back part of the Titan, then we take off for some further exploration of Akua in the Lil Cricket. It doesn't end well.
Episode 10 - Satisfying Thunks We rescue the stricken Lil' Cricket, and take it into space to gather materials to upgrade the hull. Then we enjoy the Upgrade sound-effect. Thunk.
Episode 11 - First Assault Fresh from thunking some armour plate onto the rebuilt Lil' Cricket, we take it on a test operation against the Epsilon ComCenter. It goes surprisingly well, apart from the bit where we die.
Episode 12 - A Bigger Cricket We've hit level 10, and that means guns, and lots of them. Rocket launchers! Pulse rifle! T2 Pistol! With our combat equipment much improved, we take a tour of Akua Orbit looking for trouble, before heading home to raid a very fancy Talon Guardian village.
Episode 13 - Home Improvements A brief respite from piracy and battle, as we strap a harvester module onto the Noob Truck and go hunting wood for a tasteful base expansion, giving us somewhere to finally plop down a clone chamber and a variety of soft furnishings.
Episode 14 - Probing Attack We head out to finish scouting our home system, and decide to get into some combat and check out the new Akua Moon Drone Base. Our ship performs pretty well...
Episode 15 - Know When To Fold 'Em Restocked and ready for round 2, we head back to Akua Moon for another shot at the Drone Base...
Episode 16 - Capital Ship Build, Part 1 After the blood-soaked havoc of the past couple of episodes, the first of what should be a few pretty chill sessions in which we get most of the main hull shape sketched out for the Season 2 capital ship.
Episode 17 - Sudden Change Of Plans Yeah, so about that capital ship...the creative-mode save got corrupted by a crash, so instead we're falling back to Plan B and dipping into the Abandoned Mine to grind out some XP so we can deploy a Workshop design. Or we may end up going back for another stab at construction. Either way, this video has Nightmares in it.
Episode 18 - Hell Corridor Aiming for Level 15, we continue our survival-horror experience in the Akua Abandoned Mine. Looking for more firepower, we debut the personal Rocket Launcher, and it certainly makes an explosive entrance. Because it's a rocket launcher, you see. It's an explosive-based weapon. It - yeah.
Episode 19 - Deconstruction We're gathering materials to feed the factory this episode, so we head down to the Large Outpost, break a lot of blocks, and talk about things while doing so.
Episode 20 - Mine Stripping Sathium and Iron are what we need now, so it's off to the one place we know there's loads of both - the Abandoned Mine, which we slice the top off to get loads of hardened steel for the factory. Then we go and mess around with the other two thirds of the Titan to see if we can get any vast amount of neodymium-based goodies.
Episode 21 - Final Preparations Needing just a bit of Sathium, we head up to space to break some asteroids, and then we press "go" on the blueprint. While we wait, we head for the moon to gather some warp fuel, and run into an interesting quandary - what faction does water belong to?
Episode 22 - Masperon Arrival One more wave of drones, and then it's farewell to Akua and hello Masperon - we're racing to get ready for another shot at the Fortress before Alpha 6 arrives.
Episode 23 - Assault HV Design Time to get ready for the assault on the Fortress - after the miserable failure of Season 1's airstrike attempt, this time round we're going to try a land bombardment approach.
Episode 24 - At The Gates Of The Fortress This episode we scour the solar system for a cannon drone to complete the Epic Minigun quest, and then it's time to roll out - we're heading for the Xenu Fortress, and this time we're coming prepared.
