This is about the dev's request for feedback thread
    http://empyriononline.com/threads/w...single-task-action-in-the-game-right-now.9291
You see, Hummel did politely request people to stick to the subject and not derrail the thread. And guess what? Didn't work, people just rudely ignored him.
It is not about superior intellect. It is about respect. Some people will just take any chance to try and rub a request/rant to devs/CM at any chance they get. THAT is being an ass/dumb/whatever. They only hurt the objective of collecting the data they really asked for, and that's annoying.
And since the CM/Devs/admin can't go and tell ppl not to be dumb, I do so in the hope that next time they will try to do better.

"Many people have different ideas/gripes about the game. It's all about input and balance." They have proper therads/sections for that.

TLDR; If you don't like being called dumb, then don't do dumb things .D

Although nice you didn't continue this attack in the other thread... this thread is in bad taste under the guise of a public service announcement.

    TLDR; This thread is dumb.

What is your point? Yes people are free willed people that nobody can control. This is the way God made it.

People don't like being pushed into holes and forced to codify their every thought. Sure that is convenient for business and organization but it's not how the human mind, itself, works.

Any time that a group of people get together to discuss things it is going to generate new ideas, rehash old ones and maybe even get a little rude. It's all part of the process.

As for the devs it's their job to read through the data and mine from it what they can to make the game they want/can make.

I wouldn't really call anybody here dumb frankly. They've already made a great choice in games. One with a learning curve too.

Nobody needs, nor wants this service. Thanks anyway.
