    Update: Hotfix (Build 712) - November 12, 2016

EAC is working fine again. You can now enable EAC on your server again to avoid cheating. However, we recommend disabling "HeartbeatClient" in dedicated.yaml for now.

    Bug Fixes:
    - Fixed all problems with EAC
    - Fixed: Internal error that sometimes occurred when player is stuck under cockpit and he gets detached
    - Fixed: When switching fullscreen, character loses color and becomes grey

    ==========================================

    Hi everyone,

We fixed the severe memory leak, which was introduced in the last update. Unfortunately, the memory leak persists on Radeon HD 55xx to 77xx graphic cards - we are still working on a fix for these cards.

Please note that this update is both client and server side.

Please report bugs over here: http://empyriononline.com/threads/bug-reports-alpha-4-3-1.8112/

    Changelog: Alpha 4.3.1 (Build 710)

    Bug Fixes:
    - Fixed memory leak on Nvidia and recent Ati cards (memory leak still persistant on Radeon HD 55xx to 77xx)
    - Fixed problem that NPC did not reliably attack anymore
    - Fixed problem that rocket launcher could shoot through doors / walls when standing close to object
    - Fixed problem that you could not hit asteroids with rocket turrets anymore

    Changes / Improvements:
    - Added new glass railing blocks: regular, round and L-shape
    - Added SV thrusters to block group (regular, slant and enclosed) similar to CV thrusters
    - Added new enclosed thruster for HV and added HV thrusters to block group (regular, slant and enclosed)
    - Minor renaming of all thrusters
    - Changed: Using UTC time in log line time stamps, allows easy comparing of log files from different timezones
    - When using "autogroup" in Control Panel, thrusters are now grouped by directional status. Note: Thruster positions for grouping are set when "autogroup" is executed. If cockpit orientation is changed after auto-grouping this will not yet be taken into account

Is this behavior optional? It'd be really helpful to have an option (hotkey, perhaps) to kill all thrusters, hover engines and RCSs with one action. When I park my craft and want to switch off everything movement-related, but keep running everything else.

Woohoo Thanks for the memory fix folks!

THIS please - I think we can ALL agree we would like to kill Propulsion / RCS with a map-able key, but Not the Lights & Fridge!

Actually, I would like to see Toggling Power for every block that uses power, so you can do things like make doors work only manually, leave bases in extreme power save while out exploring the system (fridge and turrets only for instance), and that sort of thing. The flexibility it would allow would be great, and it would essentially be enable / disable the blocks script.

So I seem to recall a recent patch note about the mirror of the new "L" shape railings. Last night, they were not mirroring correctly.

Also, as someone reported in the bugs. 4.3 re-verted the fix for the roll-on-yaw bug... so now ships of thinner design are rolling around again when yawing.

The new 'giant unified turret bases' for HV, have ruined the 'looks' of all my HV :( Those bases are way too wide and screw with the design I had gone for. Grrrr. Not able to fix my HV to make them look not-so-bad without just ripping them to pieces and making them larger.

Oh well... progress I guess (didnt see what was wrong with the old bases to be honest heh).

But please for the love of... DONT TOUCH the artillery turret base!

Before, tighter base rings for turrets...

Now... GIANT RINGS OF omg lol...

    20161111100227_1.jpg 20161111100045_1.jpg

PS: Also the 'coloring' of them leaves a lot of some blueish color. When using black, they have a lot of what looks like violet tinges. And white is off too in this regard.

I didnt want PINK on my ship! LOL. 20161111100904_1.jpg

    Yeah, pretty sweet!

Could we get a 'third' tint option on the change&rotate tool to be 'no tint'? For the glass railings, it looks odd anyway you do it having tint, so a third option would satisfy all.

Ahh, ok I was wondering what was happening there. Thought maybe my pilot had a few too many drinks before hopping in the cockpit :p

Once again I'm thoroughly impressed with how fast new bugs get squashed, that memory leak was killing my fun. Keep up the great work Eleon!

Awww, now i have loads of thrusters to turn of. The autogrouping is no help at all for me. Do you guys actually play the game?
How is this a help on any planet?

I will test this in a few hours to confirm, but I think that thrusters now consume little or no power when idling. There is no longer a need to turn the thrusters off manually in the control panel to save power after every landing.

Are the labels of docked vessels supposed to be appearing again? It was really nice that they did not show, it gave flying a carrier around a much cleaner look.
Also, it's nice to not be advertising to the enemy what exactly you have inside your holds.

Also, all my LCD screens now look like I have Vaseline in my eyes (except certain edges if a door is next to it).

NOOOOOO!! They are wider than 3 blocks now?
That is going to ruin MY HV design too.

They look comically big now I hope they scale down to under 3 blocks again!

Yes I now have "Ship Spam and it's annoying! I can hit F6 but then I can't see things I need to that are not mine.
Hope they make then hidden when Docked.

I thought that was the rum I drank last night, glad to hear it's actually a thing.

So you can't manually put them into one big group and toggle either? Even if they don't use much I like the quiet of the engines being off while in space or landed. Plus it is part of the realism we come to love!

It is a deliberate change, yes. People were losing their ships when they were powered-off, i believe.

Hate to play devil's advocate but, I actually kind of like the way the new bases look on that vessel in the picture.
