I've been asked if it's possible to create a completly green planet to use it as a greenscreen fpr video creating purposes.
Would be perfect to have a mostly flat surface without mountains.

Anyone got an idea how to create a planet like this?

Yep, download the Terrain Generator, create a Biome thats Flat, because its flat, and the game works on levels from the pole, the entire flat surface should be one colour/texture.
Apply Akua textures it should all be green.

Oh, that's strange because its working for me, what windows are you on 7 or 10 ?

Slap a request into a new thread and ask, Im sure theres someone who has already done this, Im sure I read about it somewhere.
They wanted a flat map like in MC, it was about a month ago if you wanna search the entire forum.

W10, man we have had some issues with that OP system, very frustrating Microsoftbrains.
Theres a thread , if you click back from this one, about new terrains, if you ask one of them Im sure they will create it for you, if I get time this week I will create one for you and pop it in here.

    That would be very nice.
The thread you mentioned, is it called "Custom terrain (.xml)"?

    Hey,

    just saw this.
One guy on HWS requested a "Green Latern | Mogo" planet.
Since it is multiplayer I couldn't use the terrain generator. But the biome I used is one of the flattest.
If you want I can share at least the playfield.yaml.

There are many green planets in my scenario and many variations.

If you go to this section of the playfield YAML.

    ### Terrain and Decorations
    # Terrain and Local Decoration
    Terrain:
    Name: TemperateNew2
    PoleLevel: 30
    NoiseStrength: 0.2
    ColorChange:
    YFadeCenter: 80
    YFadeRange: 40
    YFadeMin: 0
    YFadeMax: 0

You can adjust the NoiseStrength to make a map super bright or invert the colours, so if you slap a - infront of the number greens and reds turn into purples and pinks, if you just raise the number in the positives you will brighten the map and depending on the number, can go all the way to fluro colours.
You also have adjusters there for the height at which shading starts ends etc.

For a full green planet like that you need to adjust the sub biome textures also.

The planet above looks like the creator has use the Erestrum Texture on the ground surface to get that effect. Clever.
