Generic voxel design tool

Are any of you guys using either a dedicated voxel paint program or a generic vectorial drawing program to plan out your stuff?

My usual choise for voxel based painting was VoxelShop ( https://blackflux.com/node/11 ), but it's not exactly ideal for planning a spaceship build.

Lately I've found Goxel ( https://guillaumechereau.github.io/goxel/ ) and it seems a bit better as far as design goes, but the movement controls are way too fiddly, and it does not have the extremely useful cross sections that VoxelShop has.

Anyone would like to share their experience?

 

Definitely going to check these out. I've been looking for something like this.

 

You guys need to go to the steam workshop and check out what Soulchateau is doing.
