    Hi guys,

I digged a bit through the yaml files but couldn't find an option to not allow the Spawn / Factory as well as to disallow specific objects to get built like to Autominers.

    Is this possible?

I'd prefer to have these settings for my scenario or my server.

    Thanks for any info!

The factory is in the dedicated yaml so it is server wide. Currently you cannot disable autominers.

With autominers you could go around and delete all the auto miner cores.

    Ah I see

    Code:
    # Restrict Blueprint types allowed for production in factory
        # None = Blueprint system completely disabled
        # StockOnly = only stock blueprints can be produced
        # All = all types allowed (default)
        AllowedBlueprints: All

I only saw the option to remove the Cores from the starting equipment. Didn't see a way to remove them completely from random drop loot tables.

Let me just weigh in about mining in general, and autominers specifically. At the beginning, with T1 mining, mining is really a bit of a pain. I am usually just happy to have found an ore I need, and so, at first, I can mine happily. But the game at start is about nothing other than to get some Neo, at level 7 and make my T2 miner! Even if other things may be more interesting or pressing, I want that T2 drill. So I am driven into space, and go up and mine just a few ore, and then I feel like the game has started at last.

Next comes the T3 auto miner. Let us be honest here; mining is a grind. Food can be a grind too. So as we advance we should be able to resolve the 'grindy' things, until they become a simple chore, and not hours of work each play session. I like the fact that after a while mining becomes less of a chore. I can focus my attention on other aspects of gameplay.

I also like the convenience of autominers. However I dislike the fact that they can mine a node forever without depleting it. It takes away the desire to move on and explore more planets.

Maybe that should be an option for server operators.
Allow autominers to deplete ore node. True # False , sort of thing.

Or allow autominers to wear out.
