Hey just what I was looking for.
I'm 61, still working as a software engineer, and my friend is the same age. He's just getting into the game and I'm a long time player.
I tried setting up my own server but I couldn't seem to get it to work.

I'm looking for a laid back PvE, and maybe PvP, but I haven't played multiplayer yet.
We'd love to join if you'll have us.

You guys still running that IsR server? If so can you reset my player file, if you haven't wiped the server...this was MANY revisions ago.

 

I'm looking for a pve server and you were recommended highly by a friend. He said you are a nice friendly group. I'm a 62 year old Gamer and I play a lot of Empyrion

 

Just tried to log in and version conflict: 7.2.0 is now the latest.

These guys are fantastic folks. I cannot imagine they would be in anyway opposed to someone of German identity, or any nationality/ethnicity for that matter.

Had a lot of fun on their server before I burned out and went on hiatus. I think there community has grown a bit since I stepped out, but the lead guy runs a few servers and various games and I he said that right now their Interstellar Rift server is getting more traffic.

Anyway, we should hook up and do some coop stuff now that the stock bases, etc. actually pose something like a credible threat. Once they update I'm planning on an Omicron start (assuming that is an option). Xe, the lead guy likes to tweak his settings and stuff and if memory serves the starting planets they had back in the day were a mixture of custom ones and at least Akua, but not sure if Omicron.
