Possible to spawn and give a blueprint to someone?

So, as a admin on a server, is it possible to spawn a blueprint then somehow transfer it to another player?

I run EAH, EAH Lite, theres no option in there to give someone a made blueprint. The only idea I could think of was spawning it, deleting the core and letting them put one in.

 

Without EAH, you have some options. If they are in a faction, you can use console commands to swap ownership. Typically on my server, I'll set it to public beside them and remind the owner to change it.

 

Why not just spawn it, make it public, then have the player take it over?

Yes it is and is the easiest way to do it, set public, let em take it.

 

You could use the API...
Set it up so when a player says a chat command a ship spawns next to them then gets set public so they can take it over.

Probably want an LCD screen set up directly in the player's view from the cockpit that says "set this thing to owned by you"
