So we were on and everyones stuff started blowing up, and NPCs spawning on everyone. Blew the whole server, and finally in the logs found what it was., We have EAC on and run EAH and this is what happened.... Honestly seems like theres nothing you can do, and this is just another game that uses one of the worst anti-cheat programs and we pay for it. This is the second time, using every precaution suggested. We are really struggling now, if its even worth it anymore, if this kind of crap cant be stopped. Amazing how this doesn't happen on alot of other games, yet after research, this is a constant thing in this game, that has not changed since launch. The amount of work people put into building, just so they can log on and see it all gone to the point you might as well wipe. Makes running a server just stupid, so you can tell everyone sorry, every 3-4 weeks.
Sorry to hear. But your not alone. Many more servers got hacked in the same way. U dont have to wipe actually there are many way to put stuff back and remove the PV they have placed. Hackers think its fun to do + its a trill for them to even see if they can hack it. Neither EAH or EAC mean u will never get hacked. Your bank account can get hacked aswell afterall. RexXxuS send every log he could find to the dev's when this happened to HWS NA en Official Server US. All we can do is sit and w8 till the dev's find the source and are able to close the leak or EAC can close the leak. Its not really EAH job to catsh this kind of cheaters. But thats EAC who has to do that. EAC works with updats aswell like your virus scanner. Dev's do update it when a new one is out. But even your virus scanner can miss something. Doesnt mean its not fustration and not funny. Run backups best way of getting past this stuff.
Any possibility that the hacker is using a random one, or should we just report the user via https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198340086166 ?
