    Its already been said once by jmcburn he wont make it public. He likes it him self way to much to do that.

    As @Taelyn said, open source is not an option for now.

    But if you have any bugs, post them here, i'm just on the verge of finally fixing the asteroidresources bug and the Weather/GlobalEffects bugs. Maybe i can still include/fix it for the next version.

    Also just included the latest 'RespawnDelay' and music updates.

    I'm noticing some strange happening with list boxes. Sometimes an item in the list disappears from the box, even though it's kinda still there. It can be edited and saved and it reappears.

    Oh, and this is probably a Windows thing, but when I right-click in a file manager, on the icon of your program, I see the expected options. When I right-click on the name of the file, I get different options.

    If it's intended, lol, cool, but I think it's non-standard. Not that it's wrong per say, but it's terribly confusing to those Americans.

    Thx for the info, i just stumbled across it, too.
    Has to do with Databinding. But should only happen in sub editors where you can switch different types of options via a combobox/dropdown.

    E.g. in Global SpecialEffects, if you switch from weather to effect and then add a new biome. After clicking ok in the biome selector, list is still empty. But if you click ok on the Effect editor and enter it again, it should be there.

    If that's the use case, then it should be fixed by tomorrows new release. :) Approx. 8-10hrs from now. :D

    hmm, don't know what you mean there. At least for me, it's giving me always the same context menu if i right click it, no matter if i click on the icon or the filename. maybe a windows bug. But sounds strange. :D

    Hey,

    Drone Base setup, Presetstyle and Extra Tooltip.

    Always have to search up the numbers in the playfield.yaml what exactly

    Can u list :

    # PresetStyle:
    # -> 0 = no drone attack base,
    # 1 = day + 2 triggers,
    # 2 = night + 2 triggers,
    # 3 = at once + 2 triggers,
    # 4 = night + turret trigger

    # Extra:
    # -> 0 = Default drone
    # 1 = Drone that attacks base
    # 2 = Troop transport
    # 3 = Ground troop - content of troop transport

    Can not get this app to work, Ever time I try to place the contents of the zip in a folder on my HDD. The main exe gets deleted and I'm told it is a virus. I did not have this issue with release v1.32.2.0 , all after seem to be infected or something changed.

    It's a false positive alarm of your anti virus software because of 'ConfuserEx', the .NET obfuscation software i use. With every new version of EPD (and thus, every new obfuscation result) the chance exists, that the obfuscation software creates a line or a snippet of code, that may or may not look suspicious to your antivirus software.

    Here's some statements on the false positive alert on the project page of ConfuserEx for your interest:

    Best thing is to set an exception in your antivirus software for EPD.exe or the whole folder where you place EPD.exe.
    This will solve the problem. Unfortunately there's nothing i can do about it.

    Finally! It's here.

    UPDATE (v1.33.0)

    CHANGES:

    • added possibility to grab players current in-game position to auto fill into position fields

      At the moment it's only working for Position, but i will implement Rotation as well as a next step. This is a first test of the implementation, so please check it out and let me know, if something comes up.

      Important. To use any of the MOD functionality (Reload playfield in game, get Position), you have to start Empyrion without EAC, that means you have to start empyrion with empyrion.exe in the game's folder, not via Steam. Otherwise the MOD won't work.
    • changed Port of EPDs MOD to 12350 to avoid conflicts with @Jascha's EAH.
      Important: Before first start of this new version, please delete folder, where the EPD MOD lies in, e.g. <EmpyrionMainFolder>\Content\Mods\EPD
    • added RespawnDelay to PlanetVessel
    • added POI Properties to SpaceVessel. Still not sure, though, if this was really intended by the devs to be working, as it's only listet in one playfield. So please test.
    • added missing FogColor property
    • added new playfield music themes.
    • added tooltip descriptions to RandomDroneBase and DroneBaseStock.
    FIXES:
    • fixed: AsteroidResources Dropbehaviour did not work anymore. Please test and let me know, if the issue is resolved now.
    • fixed: GlobalSpecialEffects/Weather bug did not manage type (weather resp. effect) correctly after splitting the databases into separate tables to avoid misselection of effect as weather and vice versa.
    • some minor bug fixes

    The bugfix for the asteroid resources and global effects is still WIP and may or may not have broken other parts in EPD. At the moment i am still thinking about redoing the whole codebase with a different approach, as i've been reading a lot about WPF and it's best practices the last few weeks.
    This has always been planned for a later stage, but it might become necessary now or in the near future already, as these latest bugfixes turn the code more and more into a total mess.

    Sorry for any inconveniences the long delay of updates may have caused.

    EDIT: Not able to get it hooked into my live game. I have no idea what I'm doing wrong. Thought I followed the instructions? Maybe I installed it wrong?

    I've determined that the yaml in the templates folder is saving as I can initiate a console playfield command and it loads my changes.

    Did you use it in a Singleplayer game? In Multiplayer the outcome is not predictable, as there could be more players around. Looks like you are running a MP game there.

    What does your console say? It should look like this, when it loads the MOD:

    I get this so it appears it's loading the mod....

    But the "reload" and "<" buttons don't do anything but turn blue when I click them. Nothing in the game console.

    Not really. The yellow script lines are a game related bug and got nothing to do with loading the MOD. The important lines indicating the MOD loading should be above those script errors.

    It should say:

    'Loaded mod Mod 0 from EPD'
    'Mod Network Relay is Starting'
    'Now listening on Port 12350'

    Does the folder <EmpyrionMainGameFolder>\Content\Mods\EPD\ exist and does it contain the following files?

    There's also a log file in it. Can you post that?

    hmm.

    My game says:
    'Loaded mod Mod 0 from EPD'
    'Mod Network Relay is Starting'
    'Now listening on Port 12350'

    Tried it in SP withoud EAC

    There is no log in the \Mods\EPD
    The config in there says IP 127.0.0.1 port 123450

    Pressing the position button doesnt load anything

    In the MOD folder, those 3 files exist. The log is quite short.

    HOTFIX

    Sorry, packed an old version of the mod, that was still running on port 12345. That's what was causing the issue. :)

    You have to delete the existing <EmpyrionMainGame>\Content\Mods\EPD folder and start the new version. Then EPD should create the EPD folder in the mod section again with the correct new file.

    Please try again, but this should solve the issue.

    Did you start without EAC, just with empyrion.exe in the game's main folder, NOT via steam?
