OK, I'm puzzled. I just returned to Empyrion after a couple month hiatus. I decided for fun to fixup the 556 Destroyed CV in orbit of the home planet. All's well so far but decided to weapon her up a bit, so I did a bit of (hard to find) research on the best choices. I decided to put a couple Flak Turrets (CV)'s and a couple miniguns (15mm). Feel free to weigh in on those choices. Problem is, I can't find the d*mn Flak Turret as a choice in the Constructor. I thought at first it was a selection inside the Artillery or Projectile turrets, but Noooo... Wiki says Large or Advanced Constructor (I upgraded the onboard Large to Advanced and threw in a T2 Core and Large generator). Not listed. What the heck am I missing? It offers to make the SHELLS for it but not the turret itself! Thx! EDIT: Fixed spppellingg
Ah-HA! Now THAT'S obvious ... not. Thanks, I tried the two turrets but not the MISSLES. Duh. Appreciate it!
Yeah, this is the very reason why I have said multiple times now that they need to include the actual turrets AND ammo inside the block group descriptions. Players have no way to know what turret group to craft unless they potentially waste resources testing over and over, have already used them before, or play around in creative mode first. You also won't know the exact ammo you will need until you actually craft the block group and right click to see what it requires. I mean, it takes probably 5-10 minutes to update the block group descriptions to include this info. And yes, I understand this isn't much of an issue for someone that has many hours in this game. New players though.....
I've always thought it was a real PITA to wander around aimlessly trying to find this info. I had to craft an Artillery AND a Projectile turret only to find I STILL didn't know, and in a semi-early game that costs a lot of resources, not to mention the frustration level. It should clearly be stated in the description block as WELL as in the Tech Tree. Edit: Spppellling
