    So should I just start a new Alpha10 Game or reinstall it again? cause this version can run for about 30s and cannot handle single atmospheric entry - even to atmosphere free moons - so not a ship breaking just game :D

    I haven't seen or reproduced a single instance of the game closing after what you describe.

    Spawned in 200 meters in the air on another planet, admin'd to the system and it was like the sun was a huge black hole and I was stuck between the black hole and the planet. A teleport would not work in-game, but thru admin helper I went to another working system with a player and spawned a CV and flew back to the system, system allows warp in ok, but no landing on the planet. So far Im the only one with the issue but I saw many players on that planet I was moved to though they were not online. Our head honcho is out of town and I expect a patch to fix the issue before reworking the yaml is necessary..I will go back and get my CV, SV and HV when the issue is sorted. I was just camping the night on the rock, no idea if there is a patrol vessel on it or not but figured a little info couldn't hurt.

    CHANGELOG: Alpha EXPERIMENTAL 10.3.0 (Build 2532)

    Changes:
    - Planet map: smoothing normals to show less zig zag lines
    - Permissions for adjusting color palette with Configure color window on structures

    Fixes:
    - Decoration: Unharvestable Trees
    - Moon playfield has weather after triggering the pole fog
    - OverflowException when parsing numeric faction abbreviations (f.e. '333')
    - Avoiding reported CoQ
    - Usage indicators display incorrectly in HUD
    - Heat & radiation areas break when a BA is rotated
    - Don't showing tracers and particles for a mounted weapon that cannot shoot (because it would hit the own ship, but still using ammo)
    - [MP] CoQ & disconnect from servers when changing playfields whilst still connected to container via wireless connection

    Known issue:
    - Chainsaw does not start animation unless you only start using it when standing close to a tree

    Great work guys, but... Still no off switch for that damn volumetric lighting effect? I know you've said many times it will be in a later release... That was three updates ago. Or are you talking about Major release... like V.11.0?

    There are other issues & 'stuff' prioritized above this I'm afraid at the moment.

    Pantera, does the unchoppable tree's fix also include the ground rocks/rock spires u cannot drill? both trees and rocks say "Container 50/50" for the bugged ones

    Is anyone getting the bug where rockets/plasma on SV don't fire, only gatlings work, not sure if I just need to restart but I heard someone else on the server I was on mention it also...just happened after the patch.

    - Turrets not shooting

    - Solar panels are not producing any output but appear to be 'online'

    Couple of questions:

    1. Do I need to start a new game for the latest 10.3 update? (I'm assuming not)
    2. Does v10.3 respect the "Base Attack: Off" setting of loaded saved games?

    I ask because after updating to the latest build (2533) and then resuming my saved game I get frequent base attacks despite previously set "Base Attack: Off" on my loaded save game.

    <sheepish grin>Yeah, I kinda pissed off the Zirax on my starter planet and didn't design my base for self-defense thinking they wouldn't attack me. It's been an interesting exercise, but it does seem like unintended behavior. Please let me know if I'm expected to start a new game with this update, and if not, whether "Base Attack: Off" settings on saved games should be respected. I'll be happy to submit a bug report if necessary, just let me know.

    Started up EGS just now and noticed RCS power lowered in to the ground ...?!?
    I'm not seeing these in the update notes, did it change unintentionally ?
    I would hope so, cuz why would you go back. SV's fly so much worse again.

    The yaw/roll rates will be addressed in a patch asap.

    When starting the game, I get "an error occured while hooking DLL" in a popup, whatever that means. Verified files and it does the same thing.

    I restarted Steam and got the same thing; that's all I care to invest in this game anymore. I only started up the game because the one I'm playing went down for a server restart. I might check it again in a month or so.
