Good bunch of fixes there, like the light being remembered now. Now you've got the light being remembered, just wondered if it'd be possible to remember the jetpack status when changing playfields?
Regarding the Survival Tool change: what happens with existing games? We're going to have other players join but will they get updated start equipment if I update the playfile for them? Or will they need to have charitable assistance upon spawning?
Hmm... you Can still make it in your SC... the point I think was that they saved you having to press a button. If they get it Kool! If Not... ButtonButtonButton!
Except you need resources, right? So for a player joining in, if the updated equipment list doesn't apply, players just cannot make a tool to get on with survival.
FABULOUS!! (cheering, not shouting ) Are there any details from the playfield that would change if I update the file--or only if we do a complete playfield wipe later on? The drone wave improvements would benefit us, but we don't plan on wiping anytime soon. Sorry to ask so many questions in the update thread! I'm really excited about the fixes and the suit light being on again when you had it on and leave a cockpit or the bike! So many welcomed changes and fixes today!
Random question: Critters can see us of course and now they can hear us too, does having the suit (or any) light on impact the former? Night vision goggles - which should be a suit slot thing btw, just sayin' - would be a better option if this was the case. No opportunity to play currently, which is frustrating...perhaps this evening Scoob.
Very nice quality of life fix. Thank you so much Fixing the HV exit mechanic, and now this... I'm beginning to think you guys might even fix the immediately closing loot container upon first opened after exiting a vehicle bug soon.
Hallelujah Last night I discovered something else that needs a fix, definitely not a game breaker, but pretty annoying... If i go in CP and turn on "Show on HUD" of some device to find it, then if I forget to turn it off before removing the device, the marker stays and can't be removed... Exiting and reloading the game might fix it, but I have to check, and it'll be cool to not have to do this...
The map markers that stay after You salvage the POI are another issue... This is "Show on HUD" for individual devices in CP, like when You want to find the thrusters of the crashed ship with less digging...
Yep. As he said, go into map markers and delete it from there. When you tell a device to show on HUD it does so by adding a map marker.
