    Hi Galactic Survivalists!

    Since our Unity 2018.1 version finally seems to be stable, we now released Alpha EXPERIMENTAL 9.7 where upgraded the game engine to Unity 2018.3. For this upgrade, we had to switch the network protocol to Unity UNET. So please pay special attention to multiplayer.

    Bug Fixes:
    - Fixed 06231: Consuming any item reduces body radiation
    - Fixed 06269: thread above zero spam
    - Fixed 06263: Item UI (icon, count) not set when a container window is opened for the first time

    Uhm, well, fine that I stayed on EXP:D. Should be a new game started or can we continue an "old" saved game?

    @EleonGameStudios I can say, HWS community are very excited to see talk of 2018.3
    I know a lot of the PvP players have been waiting for the upgrade.

    There is already eager talk, anticipating a stress test time/day for us to visit the exp server and give it a good bashing ^-^
    I will go onto exp this evening regardless and see what issues I can fish out if any.

    Thanks for the update :)

    Are there any improvements we should be looking out for, or is it a case that it should play just like the prior version for the most part? My assumption is that 2018.3 is more about facilitating future stuff rather than adding anything right now, other than the aforementioned network changes of course.

    Nothing special, only big thing is the network layer. Just play MP. Regular things. If u can't log in or get dc whole time or delays that shouldn't be there report it! Just stuff like that

    Is this literally 2018.3 or is it once of the later 2018.3 patches like 2018.3.12?

    Bug report necessary or just an oversight?

    I noticed that on several POI's of the POLARIS Faction are still Constructors which are accessible.
    In the new days of Logistic those Constructors are utterly useless as you can chose from NO Containers in the Container Menu.

    So I suggest to either make those Constructors locked also OR to attach two Containers to make the Constructor usable again. If an oversight you might fix that one day too to the desired end;).

    Is anyone else seeing this sometimes when accessing Water Generators since the 9.7.0 update?

    Note: those 999888 Flares are not what I'm carrying needless to say, but those are the particular inventory slots I'm using. I cannot recreate this at will, but managed to grab a quick screen shot when it happened.

    Edit: Ok, I just discovered how to reliably recreate it. Have a connected toolbar active when accessing the Water Generator.

    Edit 2: this occurs when using a connected inventory and accessing the Factory too. Note that if I hover over the "flares" it always shows "ItemName" in the tooltip header, but the correct description underneath.

    Weird eh?
