Ammo and turret in config.ecf

    Can someone see through and explain the ammo and turret configs?

    I noticed the irritating settings already in the last versions and hopped for a improvement with the "all-configs-exposure" in this version. But I still don't get it.

    When a setting in config.ecf is missing the game uses the default setting or the setting from a parent block ...so far so clear.... in most cases.

    But with ammo and turrets its weird.
    In the config.ecf file are settings for range AND damage on the ammo, on the turret-blocks AND on the turret-parents-blocks. So which settings from which instance is inherited or used, if something is missing?
    From the ammo, from the turret or their parents?

    I played around with different combinations and got "interesting" results.
    The logic behind this seems really inconsequent to me.
