I'm trying to make an area that looks like a pool of water in a base. I've seen a few blueprints on the workshop that look like they did a really good job on doing so, but can't remember which ones so I can download them and have a look.

I've tried using a force field and painting the tiles in the hole blue, but that looks really bad. I've added glass along with force fields and blue tiles and that looks bad also.

    Any tips or links?

    Thanks,

Why not build the base in the water and have a real pool?

It works for interior pools as well like for snow planets for ex

I might do something like that for the back of the base. The part were I need to make water is actually at the font entrance. I'm going with a somewhat opulent look this time with the front entrance for foot traffic being lined with plants and channels of water on either side of the path.

Had I realized earlier what look I was going for I probably would have made the base completely surrounded by water. But at this point I have enough of the base done that I'm not starting over :D

    You're on a server?

If not if you're in a SP game you can always use console commands like SETROTATION and SETPOSITION to reposition your base to a better place

Make a save backup just in case and use command DI to get the base current position and go from there...

And SI OFF before you do any changes

Awesome! Thanks, I don't know why I didn't even consider console commands. That was such an easy fix I feel stupid now :D
