Hey, everyone, I'm experiencing an odd situation when playing SP missions with this current scenario. It's been modified by me, but all I changed was the planet settings. > The issue is: Most POI's are powered off, and Trading Station/Civil Hubs are also powered off, and have no traders in them. In addition, all "Buds" plants, or big alien flowers, are invisible. And, no POI's attack you, you can just waltz in and claim them. Until A9, Iv'e never had this issue before.
The poi cores give infinite energy and o2. Might want to try a new save and see if it still happens. If it does write a bug report. The buds > were working on a fix
A new "save" does not resolve the issue. Even when I play a default game, I can still take over nearly all POI's by making them private, and all the trading posts/stations have no NPC traders in them. Also, the Robinson Protocol seems to have vanished.
i would suggest to verify the game files. Cant reproduce anything ur faceing. Sounds like something is defently wrong
Verified all game files. Even uninstalled/reinstalled the game. The issue persists. Have you tried the scenario?
- The Robinson Protcol is off because u put a # in the PDA.yaml infront of it. U forced it to be off. - The POIs are off because u havent set the Faction: to any POI that will force them to be offline > Turrets, Spawners dont work Use Faction: None (Will result in POI Offline) Faction: Alien Faction: Admin Faction: Public (Will result in POI Offline) Faction: Polaris Faction: Zirax Faction: Talon If Faction isnt set it will use automaticly Faction: None Hope this helps you

In the playfield.yaml of every planet at the POI stuff. For Reach > the TS_Planet If u want that the Polaris Faction Owns it same counts for Zirax and Talon. Means u need Rep with Polaris to be able to use it. If u want to get it as General use without the need of rep put it to Faction: Admin Faction: Alien is the old Alpha 8 way Like the Abandoned Structers. There still Enemy POIs but Not any of the factions own it. Faction: Public or None is NoFaction > Means No power No Guns, No Spawners. For instance give it to CrashedShips and Wreckages # Trading Station with some settlements - GroupName: TS_Planet Faction: Polaris CountMinMax: [ 1, 1 ] DroneProb: 0 DronesMinMax: [ 1, 1 ] ReserveCount: 1 TroopTransport: False SpawnPOIAvoid: [DroneBaseT1] SpawnPOIAvoidDistance: 2000 Properties: - Key: Music Value: SunnySkies

Aye, there's plenty of bits availible to customize for a scenario If you are going to mess with a story (the PDA), you might be interested in using my ePDA as editor (see signature below for link)
One final question.... Why the hell do drones not attack when you build a base anymore? even in default SP or server side defaults... I never get drones attacking anymore. That's where a lot of my starter resources come from... :/
Afaik, it is now tweaked to be: -Does dronebase exist (and is powered) --Does a player structure exist ---Does player structure have offensive weapons Not 100% this is the formula, but I believe this is how it's supposed to work atm..
Wow. After digging through my playfield.yaml files, NONE of the POI's have the Faction category. What the living hell....
