    Placing turrets under ground does not need hacking skills - there's a glitch allowing what you saw. We are trying to fix this.

    @wookie: Did you check the player permissions with the ingame console or telnet? If wookie cheated to admin rank, i suspect he would have been visible there (as he would have been hacking the internal flag).

    I'll get all of that to you tonight, I'm running the server and I'm also the one crashing the server, so I can get both.

    That being said, I was able to get other SV's to work on the repair bay, just that one specific SV would not work, it had some glitched automatic doors from a CV. Where do I send those three things? Also it was crashing the "Playfield Server" Is there something else I need to send for that part?

    Summary: HV hover booster has no effect

    Description: I added two hover boosters but they had absolutely no effect on any type of terrain, at any speed.

    I kept adding them up to 10 and still found no noticeable effect.

    Also is there a max speed for HVs? If I add two medium thrusters it increases my speed by 0.1 m/s. The thrusters, medium and small, for the HV are horribly weak.

    Summary: Upon opening container and moving mouse container closes

    Description: At times, when I first open a container and move the mouse to empty it, upon moving the mouse the container closes. A second attempt has always seemed to work. It seems to be a random issue and I've encountered it on multiple seeds. While it is usually just annoying, if I'm trying to a quick grab (say from a downed drone while being attacked by another drone) it results in more time under fire. As I wrote that last bit it occurred to me that I can't say if this only happens with drones or with other container types.

    Steps to Reproduce: No idea. Try opening a downed drone and moving the cursor to empty it.

    Summary: Turrets on CV's are not working whatsoever, with the exception of Cannon Turrets.

    Description: Nobody on this server has operable CV turrets, whether manually or automatically with the exception of Cannon Turrets. Tried to rebuild the turrets multiple multiple times, one time I replaced one, it was able to fire manually but then did not work a moment later. The turrets I was testing in question are the Plasma and Laser turret for the CV. All CV's without Cannon turrets are completely vulnerable. Then again even with those low level turrets, your still vulnerable to stronger enemies.

    Steps to Reproduce: Build a CV from blueprint or scratch, attempt to fire it manually or by flying by an enemy and see if it shoots. It wont, unless you have cannon turrets as those are seemingly the only reliable turret.

    EDIT: Tested all of the turrets for CV's just to make sure none of them work except the cannon. A few weird things about it:
    -When aiming in the sky with a turret, a yellow box/reticule appears and if you click it says "Already occupied", and of course doesn't shoot.
    -Turrets do actively track enemy targets, but refuse to reload nor shoot.

    Hover boost works for me. Have you checked what key you have bound to hover boost? Did it get changed somehow?

    Also I'm pretty sure there is a max speed, adding more thrusters just gets you to max speed quicker.

    Right shift-space causes it to activate, it just doesn't cause me to jump.

    All window blocks are increasing device count, making it impossible to design vessels with windows on mostly servers due to blue print limitations.
    If is a block should increase only the block count not the devices.

    1) Build any structure (BA/CV/HV/SV)
    2) Build a lot of windows blocks with it .
    3) Open the control panel of the structure
    4) Open the info button
    5) it ll show that your vessel has lots more devices than it should

    Summary: SV/HV gatling bullets blocked by window behind and above gun.


    Description:
    Using the enclosed design the gatling gun bullets are bouncing off of window blocks no where near the guns.

    I've tried replacing the guns and the window blocks, and changing window block types. It specifically is bouncing off of the three long tall window blocks but seems to be more related to position relative to the gatling guns. The rocket launchers, interspersed between the gatling guns are NOT affected in the same way.

    It only appears to do this with gatling guns.

    This is repeatable by building the SV_Prefab_Tier1 and placing a window block on top of the nose just in front of the cockpit. Doing so will cause the guns, which are mounted to the sides to bounce off the window and not hit the target.

    While Crash testing a SV, it got stuck on the CV i was crashing it into. the SV got stuck on one of the edges and could not be moved. so i went to move the CV and the CV duplicated it self as part of the SV, even scaling it self down to SV blocks.

    Windows result in a high performance hit, that's why they are listed as "devices" for the device count.
