Build: v1.4 Build 3258 Mode: Survival Mode: Dedicated Server SERVER NAME: Eleon Official US SEED-ID: N/A If applicable: MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: DontKnow Reproducibility: Always Severity: Minor Type: Structure/Ownership Summary: Cannot remove+add core to change ownership of structure in v1.4 Description: Normally to help out a new player on an MP server I spawn them a base, hand them a core, remove my core, and tell them to place theirs. This is now no longer possible since v1.4, the other player is told that there is already a core present despite the fact that there clearly is not. Steps to Reproduce: - Spawn a base (or ship) - Remove core - Have another player try to add core - Fail, error message indicates that the structure already contains a core - Repeating process yields a message indicating that the structure already contains multiple cores
This also occurs with CV / SV / HV. i dont know if POI's are affected yet as i have not tried to do anything since the patch. On rescue missions as a faction on MP, i carry several prebuilt ships i can spawn for rescue work (usually a CV with a Multi-turret and storage) pull the core for the other guy, and he cant place one. Everyone out of the playfield and log back in and he can place it then. Also it seems as though just the person placing it can log out and log back in. I am thinking its related to the occupied seat bug. but i have not checked for that as it just occurred to me
I managed to take a screenshot of this, my friends and I were salvaging a dead ship, one of us placed a core and set the ship as faction owned so we could all salvage it, another accidentally removed it, and this is what it looked like when we tried to replace the core.
Happens as well if Zirax takes over your base and then you destroy the core and try to place your own in order to reclaim your base.
Here's a screenshot from today where I did this, and it told me there are 12 cores already, lol "Cannot place Core as only 1 allowed! Currently placed: 12"
Yeah I think v1.4.2 or v1.4.1 may have fixed it. I can confirm that I have successfully removed and replaced cores on my own structures since at least v1.4.2.
