This isn't a big thing. It's a small thing... I'm not a fan of remembering to put my helmet on/off all the time. But no one can see my character's face. My buddies are the same way. It's not practical to remove your helmet, lest you forget to put it back on before going out in the void. But it would be nice to have an option to see each other's faces, even with the helmet on... But I also don't want to break immersion with people zipping about in space with no helmet. So I propose this: An option that will display the helmet as off when in an oxygenated area, even though it's equipped on. When you step out of the oxygenated area, your helmet appears on. This is 100% cosmetic, and doesn't impact game play, as your helmet on/off state would still be... the on/off state. It's just a display.
I know that "show Helmet" state from the MMO SWTOR where you have your character sheet and can decided if you want to show the Head dress/Helmet/Hood you wearing or not. On the other hand it looks ridiculous kissing your Companion while wearing a Helmet...
