Welcome to the Empyrion Galactic Survival power grid.

In essence. The EPG [Empyrion Power Grid] allows you to use your android device as an additional input/control device while playing EGS. This software in no way modifies your Empyrion game.

A 'power-grid' simply sends keyboard commands direct to your computer and so, is an extension of your keyboard.

This is Version 2.0 however, an expanded version is planned covering additional commands and features..

    To install and use:

    1 - Visit http://www.roccat.org/en-US/Products/Gaming-Software/Power-Grid/Download/

2 - Download and install the HOST software to your PC.

3 - Download the APP software to your ANDROID device.

    4 - Download the Empyrion power-grid : http://www.roccat.org/en-US/Products/Gaming-Software/Power-Grid/Store/Grids/Games/Simulation/611/

5 - Import the Empyrion v2 grid [file] into your PC host software.

6 - Be SURE to read the READ ME file for additional information.

    7 - enjoy :)

Note - current orientation of this panel is in portrait mode. Further versions will employ a landscape format. Stay posted for future developments.

Thanks Astra... It just adds a new way of interacting with EGS. But, it was a pet project I've been wanting to do for a while now. :)

Very awesome. I love using Roccat. Use it for many games. I use 4 tablets with my flight sim games. This just takes the cake on this game. Thanks for this.

HAHAHA...Go for it. I have yet to start delving into making some myself. Just beginning to get into programming again. The last time I did programming was DOS in Basic...lol. Now, I'm getting into Visual, C++, and Java. I have also been learning Blender and stuff but, I do it in my spare time. Which isn't a whole lot. :)

Is there a way to design a mini hud so you can turn off the hud on your main screen, can that be done? I will be trying to mess around with Roccat later today but was just wondering that.

If you mean, is it possible to transfer the in-game HUD info to a power-grid, then no. All the power-grid does is to send keystrokes to the game, nothing more. Even so, it' still a handy little app, ideal for games complicated controls.

Is this being developed with Eleons help ?

Will it stay up to date with the game through to beta ?

Does it have advantages and options to control things we cant yet control in-game ?

Looks like a cool idea Im trying to see why I would need it and if it can give an advantage running a hosted server right now.

Eleon is certainly aware of this project and have given their approval. :) As stated above, this platform is merely another way of 'controlling' certain aspects of the game [by duplicating key-presses], nothing more but, that said, its fun. :) as for updates, I already have a V 3 in the works and fully intend to keep the 'grid' updated as new features appear.

If it could switch GUIs to control different in-game devices, that would be awesome. A control panel for the constructer, a numeric pad to simulate a code lock on a door, etc.

Unfortunately, the Panel software does not support this. Great idea though. :)

That's something that may be worth putting in the suggestions forum by itself, without the app. As it seems more and more likely this game is going to go towards MMO, having locks/codes on doors may be a good idea. Maybe the addition of a faction block as well that makes it harder for non-faction entities to get inside (as in remove blocks)...
