Hi, I thought I would just introduce myself. I've been watching Spanj play Empyrion for a few years, I also watch a few others play the game. I just got the game, when Alpha 12 came out. I've been killed lots of times taking down bases, but it's all a learning curve. I will get better. Still trying to learn all the blocks so my builds don't look like flying bricks.. Spoon.
Do not forget to spend much time here in the forums. Will help you learning, even if you might not think so.
Welcome to Empyrion. Even after playing for years we are all still learning at times especially after every big update. Most of the ladies and gentlemen on the forums can be very helpful at times. Hope you continue to enjoy the game.
It can be frustrating at times. Trying to clear out the Abandoned Factory with just a T2 shotgun and rifle, so I can get better weapons. Catch 22. Only died about 10 times..... Then the left button on my mouse stops working... Hard to shoot mobs when that happens.... Got a new and better one now. I just need practice in aiming better.. More head shots.
I am lucky because I play with my adult son @jlego. Being one of the few older females on here ( pensioner) I became addicted to this game and my son plays the game how I want to play. Even now after playing for a number of years we still die sometimes especially like the other day when taking over a base filled with rocket men but we were able to have lots of laughs about it. The aim is to have fun and don't get too serious about it.
I prefer to go in with 3 T1 shotguns and a T1 rifle or pistol. The multiple shotties are so I don't have to wait for reload when I am fighting desperately to survive, while the AR/pistol is for taking out turrets. And ofc whatever meds I can manage.
I did have something interesting happen yesterday. I was taking out the core to the abandoned factory I believe I had gotten a Epic sniper rifle from another poi. So there I stood and unloaded a whole mag into the core didn't even touch it. Pulled out my T2 shotgun nope couldn't even dent it. Still had my T2 sniper and in 3 shots the core gone. I had used my multi tool to check the damage level each time. So I know that core took no damage from those other guns. Sorry I know off topic Oh dang shot myself in the foot I just learned something
After I took out the core in the Abandoned Factory I put mine in then started to dismantle it. I was in the depths of the place when 3 drones came along and shot up my ship. I panicked and tried to shoot them with my rifle.. A Rocket Drone killed me.. Had to spawn at base and get another ship. All good fun. My son was laughing at me cause I had to quite for 5 mins to relax a bit.
Don't ya just hate that when that happens. Our kids are all moved out. We do have one daughter still her but she's moving back out soon. But the wife always knows when I die from the sounds I make or when something surprises me. She does laugh at me. At my age I need more the 5 mins break
yeah that's what it said. I guess what got me was the fact a T2 sniper could take it out but not the Epic sniper. I know two different ammo's but still just seemed wrong to me.
Welcome to survival !! The first POI that I decided to clean until the end was the abandoned factory ... And I really suffered it. And with each death there was more desire to return and conquer it !! When I did that I used the material for my first HV, something like a winged shoe box Bienvenido a la supervivencia!! El primer PDI que decidi limpiar hasta el final fue la fábrica abandonada... Y realmente lo sufrí. Y con cada muerte era más el deseo de volver y conquistarla!! Cuando lo logre usé el material para mi primer HV, algo como una caja de zapatos con alas
