I pressed all the movement buttons in all directions, turned off the power, turned off the engines ... but the hover still DOES NOT REACT to my commands (remains motionless). Then I asked my friend (a member of the faction) - he got into the hover and started to manage it normally (!). Then I got back into the hover ... but the hover DIDN'T MOVE (!) Is it possible that this could be related to some skills/ profession bonus that your friend may have and you don't ? Example : you reached some limit (weight or CPU + engine power related) that your "class" is capped to, but your friend has not reached his limit yet ? Just a wild guess.
Seen this happen to Xcaliber on his stream with a CV. Relogging fixes it. It's like the game gets confused and thinks somebody else is piloting the ship so your controls are disabled.
Yeah those guys on youtube often find bugs but rarely see a bug report by them, if any at all. Only thing they know is to yell "Eleon please fix" Bugs are not reported like this, you know. At least something like that is not described in the bug report requirements.
We started playing together on the server after the wipe (!!) We do not have any different skills (!) It was just a BUG (!) When I could not control the ship, and my friend could (!)
If you HERE SO CATEGARALLY CRITICIZING US - try to SUPPLY AN EXAMPLE - how would you yourself tell the developers about this bug - that the ship stopped responding to you as a pilot ?!
You misunderstood me. I would make a bug report, like you did. So I was not criticize you at all. Th bell tolls for some one else of course. You see bugs are corrected if the developers find them or if players make bug reports, not make random YouTube lets play videos. PS After you have finished a post in forums, try to grammatically check it and correct it. It helps other understand what you try to say. At least the spelling. Auto correction is your friend, usually.
What I had in mind was more a profession (ex. engineer vs combat specialist) that would have base differences since this is now a thing (I think) in Reforged Eden. But nevertheless : did you solve the problem and if you did what was it ?
