I have most GFX options off including shadows, yet still have shadows (Sorta). Honestly its not really impacting performance, at lease compared to actually having shadows on. A fix for this will be available in the next experimental release planned for tomorrow if all goes well! p.s this only happened with shadows "off" or "Low".
