Summary: Items in containers occasionally show as flares

Description: Items in containers and in the players' personal inventory occasionally show as as a stack of 999888 flares instead of the item and quantity they really are. This issue occurs inconsistently but it appears that it can be more reliably reproduced with the Portable Constructor. The issue may temporarily disappear after a brief period until the next time you open the container, but it can persist.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1. Start a new game or load an existing game.
    2. Place portable constructor, and open it.
    3. If the issue does not occur, close the constructor and try step 2 again.

Screenshots, Crash Logs, any other Relevant Information or Download links:
    • Issue occurs in existing games created in builds prior to 2310, and in new games created in 2310.
    • Issue also reproduced by @elmo on a separate system.
    • Screenshots showing the issue are attached (one showing what the items really are, and the other showing what they are appearing as)
Edit: tested co-op, issue also occurs there

I can confirm this "bug" too.
SP, loaded game from previous version.

Just a note: it's in multiplayer, too.

We were getting this almost every time we opened a portable constructor in multiplayer tonight (so it's not just SP). It generally vanished/went back to normal after a few seconds, or hitting Tab (to open player inventory) then re-open the constructor.

Hopefully, since it's reproducable, it will be fixed "more soonerish" (and whatever was found in SP will be fixed in MP too).

While it is possible, by right clicking on the "Flares" to change them back to the expected Stuff, it is not consistent that the stuff stay's normal or to change it to Flares again.

@elmo and I have noticed that too. There's no (apparent) consistent behaviour with this issue, other than the exact same thing happening in both SP and MP/co-op. It's a weird one.

I think i noticed the flares appearing only on the first opening of a container of a structure. Once i choose another one, everything is ok, and i can switch back and forth. Things keep beeing normal, as long as the structure is loaded; when i replace it with another one, the flares come back.

    Type: Inventory management

Description: Sometimes when I open inventory/constructor/food processor/ containers/.. instead of things I really have, I get Flares in 999888 number (see screenshots). It seems that under flares are correct number of things I have because when I transfer something to stack together with bugged inventory or container, real icon is back and real number of objects is shown again

Steps to Reproduce: randomly opening boxes, containers, inventory, constructor, food processor, etc... 20190413104110_1.jpg 20190413104110_1.jpg 20190413104256_1.jpg 20190413114333_1.jpg

Behaviour isn't quite as consistent with us. With things like the portable constructor, the flares appear then might disappear after a few seconds, and they may or may not be back when we go back into it right after we close it. Annoying, but it seems that it's a common issue, so we should expect a fix soon hopefully.

Sadly, I can only give you *one* like for this response, Pantera. It really deserves 3 or 4 for this update.
