We really need more control here. Mousewheel to rotate blocks rather than toolbar cycle, ways to rebind pilot mode, fixed movement, option to disable doubletap changing to connected toolbar etc. I've bound my wheelclick (mouse3) to toggle normal/pilot mode as I flip between these modes quite a bit depending on the craft and situation. Took me a good while before I figured out I didn't have to go into the ship's options to toggle it. Having all the bindings displayed in the options would add a lot of value and make things a whole lot more discoverable. I for one learn a good deal about games just by looking through their key binding options. Low priority I know, just putting this out there.
What we really need for blocks is this. 6 separate keybinds for: Rotate counter clockwise / clockwise around the axis facing you Tip up / down relative to your facing Rotate left / right around the vertical axis relative to you
Disable the hard coding of the mouse wheel to the toolbar previous/next selection and allow user key binding for it. I am tired of constantly getting the previous next selection while doing things (building, fighting, etc.) because of this.
Please this. Scroll wheel is sooo useful in building games and to have it hardcoded is such a turn off, yes I could go set up custom scripts / remap my mouse wheel in 3rd party software, or I could go play one of my other hundreds of games...
