Summary: While most devices have their center of mass positioned at the geometric center of the model, many devices with a size greater than 1x1 have a center of mass shifted to an unexpected location. This makes it very difficult (if not impossible) to properly distribute weight for torque balance in a small craft.

    Description:
While attempting to balance the torque on a small SV I realized that devices I was expecting to have mass centered at the center of the model in fact had their mass shifted to one side, or further forward/backward than expected. I decided to test every device (ugh) and made a comprehensive list of the devices that I believe are incorrect. I am not sure if some of these are deliberately shifted, but most do not make logical sense.

    CV:
    • Radar dish
    • Antenna - Antenna 05 (Deco)
    • Large Generator (T1)
    • All Zirax turret variants
    • Warp Drive
    • Thruster XL (all variants)
    • Hangar Door (all variants)
    • Shutter door (3x3, 4x3, 4x4, 5x3, 5x5)
    • Large Generator (T2)
    • Landing Gears (Heavy Landing Gear 1, Heavy Landing Gear 2)
    • Blast doors (E2 through E13)
    • Forcefields (3x5, 3x9, 5x11, 7x12 - these shift to the side. All the 1x variants aren't quite centered along their length, but I'm not even sure if the field part of a forcefield has mass?)
    • All human turret variants (surface mount and retractable, 3x3 and 5x5)
    • Ramps (3x1x1, 3x2x1, 3x3x1, 3x4x2, 3x5x3)
    • Boarding Ramps (all variants)
    • General Devices (Deco) (Antenna 01, Fin 3, Light Slot 3x, Strake 1, Strake 2)
    • Polarized Hull Shield (T1 and T2)

    SV:
    • Minigun turret
    • Thruster Jet (L, XL, XXL, II XL, II XXL)
    • Shutter Door (3x3, 3x4)
    • Cockpits (all variants)
    • Landing Gears (T1) (Landing Gear 1 Retractable)
      • Landing Gear 2 (Folding to Side) is at the 1/3 point, though given its rotation point this seems reasonable)
    • Landing Gears (T2) (Heavy Landing Gear 1, Heavy Landing Gear 2)
    • Wings (all variants)
    • Manual Doors (Manual Door, Manual Interior Door)
    • Short Range Warp Drive
    • Mobile Constructor (SV)
    • Modular Wings (all variants)
    • Ramps (3x1x1, 3x2x1, 3x3x1, 3x4x2, 3x5x3)
    • Armored Cockpits (all variants)
    • Polarized Hull Shield

    HV:
    • Harvester Module
    • Small Constructor
    • All human turret variants (surface mount and retractable, 3x3 and 5x5)
    • Large Drill Module (Mechanical)
    • Polarized Hull Shield

    BA:
    • Furnace (verified through copy/paste onto CV core)
    • Solar Panels (presumed, tested small horizontal panel)
    • Human turrets (presumed)

    Steps to Reproduce:
    1) Place any of the listed devices on the appropriate core block
    2) Remove all blocks except for the device
    3) Turn on Center of Mass in the debug menu and observe the CoM location vs the geometric center.

    Examples:
    T1 generator:
