PLZ Retest and Re-Report No load possibal after Update from V12.0.1 to V12.1

    Hello,

    we have a problem to login the Game on the Server V12.1. The Server has now V12.1, we was start the game in V12.0.1 and now was came the update to V12.1
    I became the Error message in the Logfile
    Plugins: Failed to load 'C:/SERVICES/ni3970235_1_SHARE/ftproot/empyrion/DedicatedServer/EmpyrionDedicated_Data/Plugins/Magick.Native-Q16-HDRI-x64.dll' because one or more of its dependencies could not be loaded.

    Must we now start a completely new game? or can we rescue the "old" Game?

    Force close the Server with the Task Manager

    Then try to boot again. Its known this might happen but we dont have a solution yet

    It doesnt always happen

    This is a known issue.

    Just close the Dedi and Restart it again

    We have no solution yet how to solve this

    Since this update, I regularly have to manually for-close the process, and then start the server again.

    We are running the server on a dedicated hardware server with EAH. The server is set to restart regularly, and has previously been doing this with no issues.

    However since the last patch, it always fails on the first startup attempt.

    This is the error received.

    It does not matter if it is a quick restart, or if I shut the server off for several minutes and then start it. I have attempted to verify the files, and all showed good. I even deleted that file and re-downloaded it.

    The fix is quite simply to kill the EmpyrionDedicated.exe process, and then to start the server up again. On the second attempt it will start properly 9/10 times.

    As a result of this issue, I'm unable to run automated restarts, and must be present every time we are restarting the server.

    Known issue.

    Only thing you can do is make sure nothing is running and restart again

    There is a possible fix comeing in Alpha 12.3
