I tried exiting and reloading the game but they are still absent. Steps to Reproduce: Play through "Unexpected Allies" Save game enclosed.
Tested the issue in 3366, this time the NPC's spawned. However, none of the NPC's were walking around and they looked like 2 NPC's overlaid over each other. This one looks like the Cyborg Servant is overlaid with the Medical one. The HUD text continued to alternate between the two.
There will be another fix on the NPC-not spawning issue with the next EXP update (mid/end of this week). Would be great if you can re-run that mission (in a new savegame) again when it is released
@Hummel-o-War About the NPC being overlapped. I have seen this happening in the in production 1.4 version too, so probably this is not specific of the EXP version. Would be helpful if the game could check if the the coordinates are occupied already by another object, and spawn the NPC with an offset, in a free position. Another, maybe, related "problem" that I have observed many times is the walking NPCs walking over different assets (tables... for example) I do not know if the needed checks to avoid this are too CPU expensive, but would be very helpful having this if possible. You know me, I plan to start a new game and turbo charge the missions when the next version releases.
Started a new game in 3373 and turbo cheated to this mission. I am still seeing double spawned & stationary NPC's.
Side note, the second time I visited the science ship the issue appeared to be resolved. I only saw that on my first visit. Not on the second and third visits.
