the ability to place more then 1 repair bay on base / cv.. isn't it about time? in my cv I have a internal hangar for 2 small sv's / hv's... and a large pad on top of cv for a large sv.. I HATE having to choose between the two locations for repairs
It's a combination of technical issues and potential exploits that prevent them from allowing more than 1 on a structure. Until those technical issues at least are solved it won't be changed. That would require a major rework to solve as well....
You can work around this, at least a little, by building a small CV that isn't intended to actually fly or even move, that has a repair bay, console, fuel tank, and generator. I may have a design for this somewhere, along with my pseudo-CV base Spot Lights, very handy and stylish.
I have something like that in my workshop. Worker Bee At least that one is much smaller than my first attempt.
For bases at least it should be easy, you can add a new 'base' very close to your main base, I did so with a big platform for CVs with a repair bay and console building a few steps away from my main base compound which also has a repair bay on 1 of its landing pads.
