I hopped onto a new player's stream and noticed he was mining in Polaris territory. He got the warning that he is unfriendly with Polaris. He got pretty excited and thought Polaris might find him mining their stuff. He seemed a little disappointed when he was told he'd be safe unless he gets near their facilities. Can't say I blame him that would be pretty cool. Zirax and Talon have them why in the heck doesn't Polaris have them? Eleon Plz!
I have seen a very few number of Polaris facilities that do have Cyborgs patrolling around the outside grounds. As a habit, I generally stay Friendly with Polaris - they're too useful to sell things to not to stay friendly with, especially early in the game.
There should be a bunch of patrols - if nothing else so they can do the 'get off my lawn' thing when inevitably you find the only source of promethium is in their territory.
