I am afraid i am not able to reproduce.

    1. split a stack of concrete blocks
    2. I dropped one of the stacks through inventory DROP slot
    3. Picked the stack up again (Yes, in this second the blocks are NOT automatically added to the other blocks)
    4. Moved the stack to the toolbar and RMB
    > can not see any difference in the menu
    > i am also able to stack them together.

    What did i wrong?

They might mean blocks that fall due to SI. So break off a part of your base so concrete blocks break off due to SI and then pick up the debris.

Yes exactly. sorry if i was too unprecise @Hummel-o-War.
I was indeed talking about blocks that broke apart from the Base due to structural integrity.
