    SERVER NAME: N/A

    If applicable:
    MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: DontKnow (additional planets)

    Reproducibility: Always
    Severity: Major

    Type: Sector Map

Summary: Sector map does not display planet orbit information

Description: When clicking on planets in the sector map, with Orbit check box on, to view asteroids, the asteroid information continues to display the last information from either an asteroid field or trading station location. As this is critical for finding resources, this is a major issue--the information displayed is incorrect. I have not tried this for planet information as well.

    Steps to Reproduce:
    • Explore your sector, so you have different planets, asteroid fields, stations located.
    • Open the sector map, and click on a planet.
    • Turn on "orbit" checkbox.
    • Look at the asteroid list. It may or may not be correct for that first planet.
    • Click on an asteroid field or trading station location. Note the asteroids.
    • Click on various planets. The asteroid list will not change.
    • Click on a different asteroid field/trading station. The asteroid list will change.
    • Click on the same planets you did before. They now show the asteroid list of the most recent field/trading station visited, different from before.

Screenshots, Crash Logs, any other Relevant Information or Download links:

Please see this video recording that shows the problem. Note that during the video, 2 or 3 planets are clicked on repeatedly, and after changing which station/asteroid field looked at previously, they show a completely different set of asteroids in their orbit information (just repeating what was displayed at the station/field last clicked):

first you select a list of sectors. Then in the list you choose a planet or orbit. then change the info on the info planet or orbit

Thank you for the update; will check it in 9.3.

I like this new bug tracking system you guys have put in place! (it's probably easier for you, too)
