would be great if we could press, say ctrl+1 and turn on the first signal in the p menu with it. most of my builds have a stationary mode, it will just keep 1 generator running, the fridge and maybe a turret. every time I stop my vessel I use it. would make quality of life better I think
I do something very similar myself and have wanted hotkeys for those signals too. I always create a "parked" switch so I can just keep my fridge going while I'm on foot but shut off thrusters, rcs, weapons, etc to save fuel. I also experimented with switches for different combat modes but it was too cumbersome to switch things via the control panel while under fire so I abandoned that.
Bump this and also hotkeys for the Custom, I like to set a low/full power mode to save fuel (very important early on) also for controlling weapons and such a pain to click in to switch it on and off. Hotkeys make so much sense.
