Mode: Survival Mode: Singleplayer SERVER NAME: - SEED-ID: 646131 If applicable: MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: No Reproducibility: Always Severity: Major Type: Global Summary: Game denies to Spawn BA/CV in Neutral Space Description: Tried to spawn a BP of a CV in Space in several Sectors - denied, Same for BP of Star Base - denied. Steps to Reproduce: Pick one of your CV or Base BP, fill it with Materials, try to Spawn in empty Space -playfield denies spawning. You can Spawn ON Planets but not in Space Screenshots of Denial Message, Systems in which I tried all but one(Zirax) are Neutral. Status with Zirax, Polaris and Pirates - Honored.
You are in a star/arrival playfield right ? It's intentional that you cannot spawn structures in these "arrival" playfields.
How do I know or better how far have I to move from this "Arrival" Playfield? I tried it to spawn right after living the Planet, I tried at any Planet of a Sector. I am still in game and about 5 km away from the Point where I jumped to the Planet
Ok I though you were in a star playfield it's wasn't very clear form the previous pictures. Can you attach the save game to check ?
I will do so. Here is a picture I just made, showing my distance to the Entry Point which I marked and whats the BP-factory says Save game -> https://drive.google.com/file/d/1A-17bLIhmkCHNtTQ8d5zEHFnD30SvOWT/view?usp=sharing
He means the initial warp-in location when you perform a solar system > solar system warp. As in, select a solar system on the galaxy map and warp to it. You end up next to the star. You cannot build anything within THAT playfield and that is intended. You should be free to build anything, anywhere, in every single other space playfield outside of those solar system arrival playfields. (In default survival singel player)
I tried it everywhere - now I sent @Pantera aka Dave, my Saved Game and the Client. Just look at the last picture, I jumped form the Center Star to a nearby Planet, marked the Entry point - you can see it to the left of the Star - and it states 7km plus away, Spawning denied. I am about 3.5km away from entering the Planets Atmosphere.
Yup definitely a bug. And a weird one too, because the orbit playfields do not have the spawning restriction listed in the playfield files (I just checked).
For now exit the save game back to the main menu then try setting these parameters to true in the template folder for that playfield: Saves\Games\A1202875-200423-0824\Templates\Fingar Sector AllowBlueprintSV: true AllowBlueprintCV: true AllowBlueprintHV: true AllowBlueprintBA: true then save it & load back into the save game. I cannot see currently why this particular sector does this need to dig alittle more as this isn't an "Arrival" playfield.
Reproduce steps: Default survival game, seed 123456 Used the "sd debug" to find a star system outside of a faction territory. (unsure if needed) Teleport to one of the orbits of a planet there. Add a BA blueprint to the factory and finish with the "finish bp" command. Make sure "sbp" and "godmode" is off. Factory gives the "not allowed on playfield" error.
It stays like that in the file AllowSV: true AllowCV: true AllowHV: true AllowBA: true AllowBlueprintSV: true AllowBlueprintCV: true AllowBlueprintHV: true AllowBlueprintBA: true AllowMaxCPUTierSV: 0 AllowMaxCPUTierCV: 0 AllowMaxCPUTierHV: 0 AllowMaxCPUTierBA: 0 Has the CPU allowance eventually an impact on this? I don't know what the 0 stands for?
Here is a pic were I am in the Galaxy - open Space, No Mans Land(not sky). Right in the middle of nowhere so to speak.
This will be fixed in tomorrows update. As of A12.2.0 B2883 start a fresh new save game or to correct this in a current save started before A12.2 B2883: 1) Place your character & vessels in a sector where it is working f.ex any Zirax or Polaris sector. 2) Note down the names of the playfields where this issue happens for you 3) Exit back to the main menu & close the game down 4) Right click on Empyrion in your steam library > Properties > Local files > Browse local files > Content & delete the Playfields folder 5) Verify your steam files & let steam verify & download 6) Go to your saves folder: Right click on Empyrion in your steam library > Properties > Local files > Browse local files > Saves > Games & open the save game folder of the save game you are using 7) Now go into the folder "Playfields" select the folders named by the playfields where this issue happens & delete them then go back & open the "Templates" folder & the same again delete any folder named by the playfields that have the issue. 8) Start the game up again, enter the "Resume game" window & load back into your save game <- The blueprints should now be allowed when you go back to the playfields this was an issue in
No change. All done as laid out by you for which I am real thankful. But after jumping into the saved game again I checked if Spawn would be possible... I will start a complete fresh game after clearing saves and Caches, verify again and see how that goes.
I think there is still an issue actually in new games in starter orbits but other non faction territory orbits appeared ok for me in a new game. Will check this out asap.
