As the title says, if your jetpack is on before you teleport then it will be switched off when you arrive. Thanks, Phil.
I would like to add that the jetpack in previous versions was supposed to *always* keep its current state. It's not just the teleporter, but also when you fly to space, it is not "on". I put that in quotes because if you press 'j' to turn it on, nothing happens the first time, and then you press 'j' again and it turns on and fills up with thrust. So, it's kind of like the game THINKS that it's turned on but the thrust does not fill up, so when you press 'j' twice, you're actually turning it off and back on. I think this is a regression bug from A11 that needs to be squashed again.
If the game is going to track the state of the jetpack, so as to fix this bug, then it could use that also to turn off the jetpack while in an elevator, turning it back on if it was previously on so the jetpack isn't wasted while ascending in an elevator. This would be useful jetpack tracking. Teleporters resetting the jetpack state isn't useful.
This is especially fun, when you do not have gravity on your CV when you teleport into it... a few times I've ended up outside of my shift because of this
