I'm playing in Survival and I've this too: a large black box on the back part of the ship. Unfortunately I cannot add a screenshot because I hated so much that black horizontal box that using the Driller I successfully removed it Anyway I'm not sure whether it's a game rendering bug or a driver issue: I've an AMD card.
