Yes, but it's not recommended.
A fresh game start is probably the Best Choice.
You meant 'its not requested', yes?
Not recommended would tell me I shouldn't do it.
Nope, what @ravien_ff put is correct if you read the post he was answering and his reply correctly.
I didn't know you could get selfies as an emoji.
We received your application for a Place on our Ignore List.
Have a nice Day
Is Public release still planned for this week? (the 8th)?
Yes, we are still aiming for the 8th *fingers crossed*
Awesome, thanks! My server admin was asking, so we can start up on public, not Exp.
Downloaded 1.5 latest experimental today. Started new game on swamp world. Immediately started story quest. First part of Talon story quest, go to ancient tower and clear it for the chief. The tower had spiders outside and inside were infected Talon.
The spiders were not a challenge at all. Even worse, the infected Talon beneath tower didn't even fight back. At least the spiders some what moved around. The infected Talon would literally stand there without moving while I took 60 seconds to take them down with basic survival tool.
I don't get how anyone would think this could be fun or engaging.
That is part of the Robinson Protocol, a tutorial for beginners, to learn the basics of the game.
Most critters can give diseases that can quickly escalate into worse conditions. For new players, there are no clues as to what a single random hit from even the weakest enemy can lead to death because of this. The player can get such a starting "bad" condition in the tower, and is then instructed to get cured by the shaman before talking with the Talon leader once the quest is completed.
So... all that stuff is for beginners.
The experimental is a trifle outdated. Stable branch has them fighting.
Please everyone switch to the current PUBLIC release version as the EXP for 1.5 will not be updated (until a new EXP is announced for 1.5.x or 1.6 or else).
