Hey Survivors, I'm searching for some kind of current(!) basic tutorial for creating scenarios and how to handle with yaml-files. A real basic tutorial for real newbies like me, please! Well, I do have quite a lot of experience with playing the game, but zero with sorcery... I heard something about a SolarSystemGenerator and read this FAQ, but I'm not sure if it's not a bit outdated from 2017. For the beginning let's say I want to... - create a single system with only one Arid planet and a moon - determine the default equipment of the player - delete all resource rocks, to let the player search for deposits - determine the number of enemies, spiders and drone attacks - deactivate blueprints ...just to get in touch with this black magic Anything for me? Glad you found some videos! I totally missed this post If you have any specific questions please post them here. Getting the basics down is the hardest part but once you do that there's so much you can do.
Since you are offering....! Do you know if there's a list somewhere for the devices that can be triggered with the Check: NearUnit? I know a few like FoodProcessorV2 and FridgeMS, but I'd love to know the syntax for closets, wardrobes, etc. if they exist...
It's the ItemName you're looking for. Two ways to get the ItemName: - You can search the localization file - You can use EPD and use the PlayerItemSelector, to look up itemNames, just enter the ingame name and it will show you the internal ItemName you then can use for the PDA.
