Not sure this is were to post: We run the server , I looked at the character saves and there are only the 2 of us but in the game under faction and who is online it should the same character twice? It is a bit confusing. Anything I can do to fix this? HE got disconnected and when he logged back in he had o start from scratch.. dang!
Sounds like the character file got corrupted when he lost connection. Sadly, unless you have backups there isn't much you can do to restore it now. This game suffers really bad from connection issues and corruption. I don't know if they ever plan on addressing it at any point. There used to be a thread where the devs were looking into corruption issues, but nothing ever came of it. Without backups all you can really do is use commands to give them their player levels back. Sadly.
