    Mode: All
    Mode: All

    SERVER NAME: Not applicable
    MODIFIED PLAYFIELDS: No

    Reproducibility: Always
    Severity:

    Type:

Summary: Shift + click water generators destroys all but 1 of them.

Description: This is actually one bug causing another bug. It's being caused by the bug that we can't place blocks or devices in the water or terrain anymore.

Since we can no longer place blocks or devices in the water or in the terrain anymore (seems like a bug to me) we can also no longer place water generators in the water either, they get placed on top of the water.
If you place multiple water generators all touching one another, when you shift click one of them the rest are destroyed by the game and you get nothing back from them except one water generator.
Steps to Reproduce: Place multiple water generators next to one another and try to shift + click one of them. See attached video.

I had this happen to me. At the time I just thought it was a glitch but apparently, it is a bug.

I just tried this on v10.1.0.2517 and I was not able to reproduce it. I was only able to put the water generator at the land/water threshold, placed 6 in a row, and left-shift-F removed the one I had focused (as it should).

Try again in version 2522. As shown in the video above it happens every time.
As you can also see in the video, they are being placed on top of the water instead of in the water.

If I fiddle around in certain spots on the shoreline I can once in a while get it to be placed in the water instead of on the water, but it always wants to go on top of the water if you go a block or more in.

I can reproduce this all day long at will. I'm not the only one to be experiencing this either, I reproduced it from someone else's report on Steam.

I didn't have a chance to test it again in B2523 at all.

I did just now get some time to test in B2524 though. I am not able to reproduce it anymore.
I tried in both SP creative and SP survival modes. I spent a good 15 minutes in each mode trying to reproduce it and was unable to.
I tried all kinds of different locations around the shore and also tried in the middle of a lake. It seems like it's been resolved.

The water generators were now correctly being placed in the water instead of on top of it like before.
