creating custom scenario, wish to spawn world with POIs set to players faction, but seem to get QoC when move away from Alien, Public, NPC faction... Would love to be able to use the combat logging feature to alert team 2 when team 1 comes close to POI. Thanks
There is no way to do this that I know of. The closest you can do is use Public faction which lets anyone access the POI. Players can then change the faction to private or their own faction themselves from the control panel. Maybe an actual mod could accomplish this but I'm not sure.
Hi Ravien, I was afraid of that, I even looked through the ecf files to see if I could create a new faction to assign to the POIs and players as they spawn. Thanks for the info.
