One of the biggest things I love about this game is that you don't have to do everything. With the different traders and shops you can find you can specialize in one or two things and use money made to fill whatever gaps you have. The main issue is that eventually you have the points to unlock everything anyway. I suggest that adding the ability to purchase stat buffs or perks with your points would allow for a lot more interesting character builds. Want to be a contract filling mercenary? Increase your maximum health and stamina. Want to be a clever merchant? Increase the rate you gain favor with factions to get those discounts. The best part is that these kind of things could be upgraded infinitely, or until you want to know how to make that nice gun.
