Maybe a converter-parser is possible later. But the longterm goal is to not mess around in files with an Editor anyways.
Hey, really loving this tool. It makes changing my sector file a lot easier. I do however have one major issue. It is difficult to scroll through the list of playfields and whenever I do so it switches into playfield view mode. It would be great if there was a way to lock what mode you are viewing the map in. We updated the Playfield Generator. It works only with Alpha 6.0 from now on, since 6.0 is comming soon. It can still load the 5.5 but saving add a "Sector:" line at the beginning which 5.5 cant read. If you still need the older Version, let us know.
Can I get a link to the 5.5 version? I'd like to add a few planets to my server but it's not 6.0 yet.

You cant use a 6.0 yaml file for 5.5. You have to create a fresh one. Otherwise delete all "Orbitline" lines in the yaml.
Yup, wasn't in my dedicated.yaml, it was in the sector.yaml. I downloaded a planet that had it in it. Thanks again!

Dont see an issue with the format Jascha tool uses. Pretty easy to read tbh why u want to convert it back when u use the tool? + read the last part what RexXxus said aswell. Not smart to mess with files in a editor
1. There is no issue with the format that tool uses. I never said there was. 2. I and many others are like the format the sector yaml is in the sectors folder. May be easier to read for some. 3. Converting the sectors yaml does not mess with any files in the editor. Only converts it back to the default yaml format in the sectors folder. Which is easier to read for some. Could you really not understand that?
I have no idea why, but latest version just crashes for me on server and on my laptop. Worked before unsure of what changed. Any tips on tracking down the problem? Happens when i click load on both machines. tried it on my wifes machine, and had another friend try it. both crashed after hitting the load button. And old 1.05 crashes too and thats always worked.

Its from latest 6 release. I got it figured out though. Yaml was corrupted during file transfer somehow I guess. After closing everything out and re-opening file I found that there were a few parts in the top of the file That were garbled. Usually I look for stuff like that but i had not changed the file yet so i was really confused on why the playfield editor crashed for all involved lol. Same file was transferred in between computers. Thank you anyways, sorry to have wasted your time! Was a PEBKAC issue.
