I love your nacelles. They've solved your "men's issue" problem and look killer. Plus they look nothing like 'star trek' nacelles.
Been messing around a bit in Empyrion today. Nothing serious. Worked on an older blueprint I had sitting around just for kicks before taking some more pics of the station to put up. Noticed several things I missed(oops!) so I fixed those. I was going to take some cross section pics of the station but I couldn't get the cut/paste functions to work. Every time I've hit it by accident in the past it's popped right up but now that I'm trying to use it I can't get it to work. Probably user error. /shrug
Just making a little survival repair vehicle . I'm still trying to figure out are these repair turrets easier to use than the hand handle ones.
Today, design tweaks on exiting ships, and removed another ship from the HPOD lineup because it violates the rules for the series. Sadly, I already knew it needed to be removed because of the add-on drill turret. The ship has the drill turret when spawned now. Also having quite a bit of trouble uploading updated screenshots into the Steam workshop.
Taken some time off from Empyrion for a few days, as life has dished out a bit of a beating this weekend. Still reading the conversations and looking forward to returning to thoughts of design and space exploration. Keep posting those beautiful pictures guys, gives me something to distract my thoughts.
Well it's been on the experimental branch for like two days but now it's on the stable branch so you should have access to it.
Not used these yet are they on sv or hv ? If they are on SV they would be perfect for space use repairing cv etc. If they are HV only I suppose they can repair bases on the ground to a certain height.. that would suck a bit and make little usage of a potentially brilliant feature.
They are HV and CV turrets... Not practical at all... I still can't understand why they decided to make it so much more complicated, instead of just make a SV fixed tool, even if it's "Max Amount - 1"...
Took my Eco-Crusher Test-bed Prototype 03-FR01 for a proving run. Gotta slow down to harvest trees... otherwise you just knock them over. Tunnels well, stable, Turrets need better arcs to help avoid fratricide. Final product won't look like it was made by apple... though that would be apropos ... This is a physics and size test-bed. 1 pilot, 2 enclosed passengers, redundant systems. All assembled and material mined in survival. More later.
For a fixed SV Multitool, i could see a certain use. But a HV and even more a CV turret seems completely nonsensical to me tbh.
They will rely on our feedback to better integrate this new tool, when i think of sv repairing ships in orbit it reminds me of star trek bridge commander where we would use repair ships to repair vessels in space. As an hv tool of course it's not the best especially with a shaky hv on terrain. Here I am judging and I have not even tried it yet ! Still though the principal of a repair device on a sv sounds like a good plan.
..... Previous Meteorite bombardment screwed something up.... Xirax have been pulling out in a hurry.... I think it is time this happy little grunt beats the rats off the ship.. Time to find a Stargate.
