Now this is pretty cool. You can add these Human NPCs deco to your CV and it feels like you have a crew. lol Although they do not walk around but they still move.
Frowned. Then smiled a little. Attention Eleon! I have changed my Mind! I do not need and Epic chainsaw right now. I need functional Trans atmospheric Radar to find the MotherShudders Lobbing rocks at my Greenhouse so as I can go to their house and Kick Them In the Jimmy! This is the third time... My Insurance Agent is threatening to cancel my 'Rocks From Orbit" Rider policy. Shoot I'll Take a Tandy DIY Microwave kit at this point!
5 odd hours on and I'm getting close to finishing detailing and moving on to setup & controls I'm shocked but I seem to have managed to make a fairly nicely shaped interior (can't show you yet) AND Exterior! It took some effort and adjustment but I got the major color-shape flows to suit the theme. The front turned out better than hoped; hah! Also can't show you yet, but I can show you this: From my days building in Robocraft, I give you: DREADMAW, PvP 'Artbot' At least I'm not a total novice when it comes to vehicle shaping and design. Back in the day (waaaay before rotors - shown above), when engineering (SI equivalent) truly mattered, I was one of the top designing in my chosen niche; helium & thruster based drones. Lots of balancing and engineering needed to make those actually work well. Ah, fun days. I get half of my efficiency v aesthetics crisis from that game. If it looked amazing it usually died in a fire (Artbots), if it looked like turd (Gunbeds, Walls etc), or you could smell the dodgy gimmick/mechanic a mile away then half the time it outperformed everyone. That made me sad and salty. Being defeated by something impressive, or at least decent looking is bearable. You get to pick up ideas and marvel in anothers work. Getting obliterated by a 2-block Hover+Max level sniper combo is less enjoyable. Back to EGS: I aim to experiment to expand my signal circuit setup experience, so there should be relatively interesting System features at the end. I have 4 main levers I still have to decide functions for, 1 'public' lever (with security), and err 3 sensors I think. Wish me luck. lol
=> copy to my thread please, there needs to be some live, else the Devs will not see that! Because it wouldn't be difficult to implement such a feature for SP Survival. oh my mistake, for MP PVP.
Again, Guys, please vote and comment there https://empyriononline.com/threads/playing-solo-survival-sp-feel-alone-get-your-crew-today.25988/ If you like NPCs as Crew on board your vessels / bases. Up to now it's... pathetic... the responses or better the lack of.
There are now placeable NPC deco blocks and the motorcycle now returns to its slot on the hotbar when you pick it up.
Hey folks I need opinions. I'm trying to choose between two design for engine pods on my CV and would appreciate a little feedback from you all. First off these engine designs were inspired by the Angelico and the DaVinci so credit to @Kieve these are both lovely looking ships. First up is the design I've be using so far. And this is what I'm thinking of changing it to. and a couple of shots of both engines from different angles so you can see how they fit with the rest of the ship. Personaly I prefer the new design, But I think I'm hesitating because of the fine line between inspired by and just copying and at the mo it just looks like I copied the engine pod straight from the Angelico. Who knows maybe I'm being a little harsh on myself. Either way let me know what you think folks.
If you like the second, go with the second. Personally, I think the first matches a little better with the overall "chunkiness" of the ship (thin Angelico-style pods look a tad on the flimsy side next to all that beefiness), but I'm certainly not going to take offense and be all "ermagerd! Teacher, Sasquatch is copyin' meeee!"
Aye I suppose they do look a little delicate compared to the slab the're attached to.... Just can't help but think the first one just doesn't quite look right at the mo though. As for offense I've always felt its better to air on the side of caution and ask/credit but I appreciate you being cool about it
It's the double-round on the ends I think, messes with the profile. Try smoothing it out a little, like this maybe? See if that works any better for you.
This morning I was snug and warm in bed. Suddenly the alarms went off and the evacuation order was given. Somehow I quickly suited up and managed to make it to the escape pod. Just in time, as ship began exploding around me while the escape pod launched. Now I’m suck on an ice bucket in the middle of nowhere. No idea how I got here or where I am. Help!!!!
