Ahh, then in that case, my CV will sure as hell be "expensive". My Camo Bomber could blow 3 of your KSVs outta Space by itself. But on the other hand, my Camo Bomber doesn't have any Cup Holders... let alone ones with Mini-Grav Gens in it... that makes me jealous. *Now wants a Mini-Grav Gen Cup Holder for holding Pumpkin Milkshakes* For the Topic: Barring anything forgotten, hopefully I have my Groupings done on my CV... now for the Motion Sensor wiring up hopefully as the final step towards Completion... barring anything forgotten about. P.S. I pray to Arceus that someday we can do cool things in our Device List like click a RCS at the top of the Stack, scroll down to the RCS at the bottom of it, hold Shift & click the last RCS, have that Highlight ALL the RCS, then "Add to Last Group" all at once... instead of *click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click**click*... >_<
Looks pretty neat, but the radar dish on the top looks a little silly... I myself also made a thing: As a homage to the Horten Ho 229, I turned my T4 Phantom into a flying wing! I might put it on the workshop if you ask me kindly.
I'm getting the ships for my PVP builders guide ready and that means this thing finally made it to the workshop: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1302511529 I had to simplify the signal logic alot because Eleon introduced new and exciting bugs with 7.6 so the old automatic thruster/RCS starting didn't work anymore. Less sophisticated version here but this one works and doesn't get killed by lag or long loading times. And in the cheap and cheerful category we have an adaptation to PVP standards of CV_Prefab_Tier2 aka Polaris: http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1300158680 Size class 1 and less than 2k Erestrum & Zascosium required. Obviously less armor, guns, thrust but still enough to not die of shock when you encounter an enemy ship. I tried to keep as much of the original lines and shapes intact but obviously had to compromise in some cases to make space for turret mounts and extra amor.
I have a bad habit of starting over and building all new tools for my games...I learn new things and put them into new ships. So I give you the Hoplon...a small CV...maybe room for two people. Minimum devices and unlocks at lvl 10. It is called the Hoplon after the shield of the Spartans....because you can mine in the shade. The underside is enclosed in forcefields, Just pop out of the elevator and mine in comfort. Tested in deepspace temp was -202 outside, 71 inside. http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1302588651
@SirKnumskull Nice details for a PvP vessel! @Kieve Awesome screenshot, so its 'final' now Been busy as well with my Seraphim Carrier VCA. Spoiler Top Cover and start of side cover: Testing front Some plants: Front with done side cover Backview Sideview Without interiour, the standby time is nice As always, this is 'as of now'
it was for a friend, i wont be working on this unless he ask for help, no way i could solo a huge size class 28 station project lol
this! I am also soling a class 30 CV build...and guess what...most of it was build back in 5....every block was placed, painted and textured by hand...now i want to update it with the new tech and textures
as above...i dug out my old class 10 (now class 30) and started te update her....will take quite a while: old doughnut place...aaa the memories. will have to rework this section some birds came to visit this was my pride and joy...custom escape module pods....just need to find the pod BP xD and people complaining that RC's are OP....the SS JUGGERNAUGHT has 217 T2 RCS's and she still turns like a brick
Lookin like an interesting dude thus far. & yeah... T2 RCS so OP we only just need HUNDREDS of them to get the job done... Ahh, I can sympathize with that. I wouldn't have time either if it wasn't for my Building Strategy of doing a bit, procrastinate, do a bit more, procrastinate, get another bit done, procrastinate, rinse & repeat till done... honestly CVs would be too damn big for me to much as well without that Strategy.
It may not have met @T431 's challenge, but I decided to finish off the Cichlid and post it. It takes a little finesse, but you can dock a Weta (or other small/medium SV) in the forward bay. (I added two docking pads in the center-bottom of the Weta to aid in docking).
Current process on the Izumo : Meanwhile I did surfin space (http://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1302192981) But now there is much to do inside the ship ...
You actually tried? Well, I was thinking about changing my rules for the challenge anyways, as the having more floorspace in the SV than in the CV is just too difficult to accomplish. Edit: I changed to rules to make the challenge easier. Your ship now qualifies!
