127 Planet Pack - All with pics.

This is a set of planets I have put into a pack for scenario builders to use.

The yaml link takes you to a page where you can download all of the yaml files compressed with Z-Zip, just de-compress them and you have lots of planets to play with.

NOTE -

These yamls are out o my MP scenario and still have the custom POI entries in the yamls, just delete the entries as you need to.
If you would like custom POIs also just ask.

Has anyone got any tips on how to customise the space playfields?
I was hopeing for some examples that play with the light color and intensity. Or show how to change the starfield background at all? I know I have asked about this before, but not getting any useable clues

 

Hey piddlefoot, you have any earth-like planets in here?

 

Nice collection. One thing I am curious though is whether all thos playfields were edited between survival and creative mods through console.I do not want to find my placed BA buried under the surface on the second visit to any planet.

Also I hope they are not obsolete with the introduction of V8.

 

None were created or messed with in creative.
All were hand made custom yaml entries only.
All POIs were created or modified in creative and then entries added to yaml for there spawning.

Were not sure what 8.0 does to scenarios yet, but were all hoping they will not be effected.


Theres plenty of Earth like Temperate planets in the set.

Not sure about changing the bounding box backround textures, but everything else in the space playfield yamls is editable.

 

I hope to see them in scenario(s).

 

I would love to have more custom POI's Trying to gain a huge collection of em.

 

Lost City of Sol has over 100 custom POIs you can use, closer to 200 after the 8.0 update !

 

Where can I read more about this?

In the Scenario section of teh forum under Lost City of Sol thread.

All of these planets are in the scenario.

The really great news though is that 8.0 will Not make our planets redundant.
The devs are working on a rather cool solution.

 

Ahhh great. It would be nice to save all your hard work you guys have put on creating and gathering all the planets in various scenarios.
