After a bit of a break in this game I got back and made a simple lvl 7 starter SV: I call it the T4 Athlo, I'm not yet sure if I like that name though. This is essentially a warp capable Havok, with even the exact same thrust in each direction. (19m/s) Spoiler: More pictures Edit: I changed to name from Athlo to Atlon. Not as good as Athlon but there's not enough room for 6 letters on the side.
What I did yesterday was play 8 and explain to players on the Steam forum who were dying from cold or starvation how to stay alive. It felt like I was putting cheese down in front of a mouse and it still dies of starvation.
Same crosshairs by the looks. I presume you're after adaptive ones that change colour when you are on Ningues?
I think I got the main floor of my display to a good point. So now I have the basement left to do. Hopefully that will be easier since it just the generators, fuel, O2, and storage down there. Spoiler: Pics Usually, I only use one or two fridges, but this is thematically a place to entertain prospective clients and business partners on the main floor, so I suppose they might have a few more for food storage. I suppose one generator would have been more than enough, but I liked the look of two. I realize that there is a risk that the basement will be inaccessible and full of dirt, so I will be putting the two supplemental farms on the included switches set to off. Other than the farms, everything else in the basement might be accessible from the control panel.

After seeing some of the amazing work others have done with SV/CV hybrids(@Kieve @Jenniphurr @Kassonnade) I started thinking about making my own. Did some feasibility tests and quickly remembered why I abandoned the idea that last time I tried it. More power to y'all for making it work. Moving on: I've been workin' on stuff. I'm going to make a mini-sized Battlestar with an SV viper and an HV motorcycle(because that thing @rucky posted was extremely cool). Once the viper is operational I can build the launch bay around it and see if I need to make the CV bigger to accommodate it. I'm modifying one of my other ships that didn't do well on the Workshop. It gives me something to start with but by the time I'm done it may not be recognizable.
That's a nice compact Viper build you got there, thanks for the inspiration. I started building a new battlestar as well on Sunday and I have most of the exterior done and currently working on the interior. I haven't thought of SVs to go with it yet, it has lots and lots of hangar space to fill up. I naturally build battlestar-like ships whenever I go for a battleship/carrier type design and, as I got to know the BSG series over time because of that (and growing fond of it), I've started to incorporate more of the series' design characteristics. My SV designs usually have a wide wingspan so a more compact design like a Viper should be fitting - it's a battlestar after all! If I do start work on a new SV for the battlestar, it will most likely be a Raptor first though, Raptors are underrated...
Yeah I love BSG and the Battlestars other people have built are pretty awesome but they're so frikkin' huge. I'm trying to keep everything compact, cheap, and user friendly. It may end up looking utterly ridiculous at this scale. We'll see.
Well, Atlon is better than Athlo (imo). Yours too. apparently I was going to suggest T4 Talon, but perhaps you might think it's been used?

Rich Guys don't need that. Also a nice variant, the Double Seat-Harley Spoiler: Double-Seater this time again with Fridges and Cargo box... for a nice lovely excursion for two ;-) but still can't build some podium for Jennis challenge... and time's running out... very fast... :-(
