After reloading the save I played on for a few game days. No drones. Now I'll add a turret to the base and see if that provokes the drones again. The new terrain makes it much easier to potshot drones. Starting your BA at the bottom of one of the tiny valleys can force a drone down low enough so that it's picking its way around the terrain. A slow drone is a dead one as soon as you have a rifle.
I am quite sure that you know that you lay down the Antenna? In the current picture it looks a bit like remote controled
Hi T431, a nice replica you have there. For my understanding, watching pics/blueprints of the Bt7-Thunderclap, you have to build bigger to do her justice. The right fixed wing/mainbody seems to have 2 floors. (ramp under cockpit, reference people in pictures) Maybe even CV worthy or a big SV i seems, to me. Looking forward to see more from her!

Hello everybody ! I have been away for some time but I am excited about these updates, put myself in creative yesterday and wound up making a yacht ! Ok last years some of you may remember I mentioned discovering a way to make boats actually work, unsinkable and stay in the water ! I made a small pod test vehicle at the time to get this working, so last night I actually made my first attempt at a yacht, its not huge, but after testing, she sails beautifully ! She can not be sank. The method I am using to create this unsinkable effect I am going to name it the 2HV5 method which is actually the formula for the method. 2 hover thrusters vertically spaced with a 5 block gap. so the lower hover thrusters like any other HV will let you float over land and water, and like a any other hv you will sink and get stuck if you go to close to water. The yacht has these activated on a cp switch A The upper hover thrusters activated by switch B in control panel will allow you to hover max height 3.0 but the bottom of the ship remains in the water like a boat, and it will not go down unless you hold C or whatever your down button is. Even when you sink it right down, you can raise it back to 3.0 and the vessel will travel normal speed on the water, and she will never come out the water unless you still have the lower hover thrusters activated which you should turn off when using water thrusters. So here we have a vessel that has trully 100% dominated the waters of empyrion and can sail 100% safely on those waters without even getting the passengers wet. Does not sink does not fall out of water, and as a bonus she can still travel land like any other HV also When using water hovers the vessel can be sunk with c and used as an underwater observation lounge, submarine, helmet permitting of course. Now go forth and build boats ! Combat boats, race boats, pleasure boats, cargo boats, diving boats. I like it a lot. The asymmetry looks right and you stuffed a lot of gear into a very low profile. I'd fly it!

Hmm, yes. I think the main thing that needs work is the thruster layout. Right now it looks kinda messy and random. Perhaps I could change the shaping more to make the engine segment and the cockpit segment more similar, and fit in the thrusters better.

Already found a bug with my boat, if you get up out of cockpit on a single player survival game, the vessel continues to float, as it should do as its still powered on, however do the same on a dedicated server, and the vessel sinks like a stone. Unreliable and unpredictable as always, and i still cannot connect to any eac servers, like 2 months now... If i reinstall empyrion, i can connect to a eac server ! but only 1 time then i have to reinstall the whole game again if i want to get back in. I was excited about empyrion this morning, and now im having my first shitty day for a few months, thanks to this ridiculousness. The game is looking great ! I am now forced to play in my own dedicated server and have turned eac completely off just so i can have an online experience of some sort. First thing i did was find out my boat sinks when you leave the helm on a dedicated survival, everything I did today was fruitless, will give it another 6 months shall I ! XDD EDIT: After some playing around i found a way around the multiplayer sinking, before exiting cockpit, engage the normal hover thrusters switch A and disable switch B, she will then go into regular hover above the water, and when you stand she will drop to just above the water. Just a shame I cant leave it in water mode switch B and stand up like I can in SP survival...strange Standing up in MP forces a height reset of the vehicle, in my water mode thrusters that means under water XD in normal hover thrusters it will be above water. So just switch to land hover before exiting over water Reported the situation as a bug in bugs forum as far as the different HV behaviour in SP survival to MP survival.
Au Contraire... it may not be a bad idea to have extra Thickness in case of Reckless Pilots slamming CVs down onto the Landing Pad Cowboy Hard expecting Landing Pad & Landing Gear both to be completely invincible... Now i'm struggling to re-find the Inspiration that was flowing through me last night...
I discovered on MP it is possible to sink the vessel on purpose and get it stuck, but using both sets of hover thrusters and holding the up arrow for several seconds will spring it out of the water back into normal condition xD An unexpected benefit of the genetic crossing ! Made a roof gun version now as a random drone happened upon me in the middle of the ocean while i was drinking a cuppa haha And I am continually amazed by the amazing backdrops this game is delivering !

Totally digging the large Jet Thruster Size Models that are whole Jet Engines & lack the dumb metal sticky out bits, dumb metal ring, & dumb fin attached to dumb Metal Ring. Totally 110% hugging these & gonna take the other Jet Thrusters with aforementioned dumb metal bits & fins & gonna disregard their existence.
